To recover and access older Microsoft certification records such as 70-270, the supported path is through the Microsoft Learn profile and Microsoft account recovery flow.
- Try to sign in to Microsoft Learn with any past Microsoft account that might have been used for exams.
- If access is restored, open the Learn profile and use:
- Transcript to view completed certifications and modules
- Credentials to view certification details
- If the old username or password is no longer available:
- Use the Microsoft account recovery options for forgotten username, password reset, or sign-in issues.
- If the original personal Microsoft account cannot be recovered, access to that Learn profile and its data is lost unless another valid login account had already been added to that profile.
- Microsoft Credentials Support cannot recover personal Microsoft accounts and cannot transfer or restore the contents of a Learn profile that is no longer accessible.
- For certification-specific help, including missing certificates, transcript issues, or profile assistance, use Credentials Support.
Available self-service locations:
- Learn profile transcript: sign in, select the photo avatar, choose Profile, then Transcript.
- Learn profile credentials: go to the Learn profile and select Credentials in the left column.
- Certification Dashboard transcript: use View Transcript to email, download PDF, or share.
The provided certificate IDs and name cannot be used here to locate the profile directly. The documented options are account recovery, then accessing the Learn profile, or contacting Credentials Support for certification record assistance.
