Microsoft 365 features that help users manage their subscriptions, account settings, and billing information.
If the charge is unauthorized and the account details cannot be found, take these steps:
- Check all Microsoft accounts that might have been used for the purchase at Subscriptions.
- If the subscription was bought through a third party such as Amazon, Best Buy, Google Play, or the Apple App Store, cancellation and refunds must be handled with that provider.
- If the charge is not recognized, go to the Manage your payments page and select Investigate.
- If a family member or someone else may have used the card, that is one of the common causes of an unexpected Microsoft charge.
- If the account cannot be accessed and the subscription cannot be located, contact the bank or card issuer immediately to dispute the charge, block future recurring payments to Microsoft, and replace the card if needed.
- For Microsoft help with billing, use Contact Microsoft Support, enter the problem, select Get Help, and then Contact Support.
If Turn on recurring billing is shown instead of Manage, the subscription is already set to expire and no further cancellation is needed.
