    Hi Donna,

If you're using New Outlook for Mac and Outlook is not opening consistently, or emails open with a blank message body, you may try the following steps to see if they can help:

1/ Check Outlook on the web

    • Sign in to Outlook on the web and open the same messages.
    • If the message content appears normally there, the issue is likely with New Outlook for Mac rather than the mailbox.

2/ Ensure Outlook is fully updated

    • Open Outlook and select Help > Check for Updates.
    • Install any available updates, then restart Outlook.

3/ Remove and re-add the affected account

    • In Outlook > Settings > Accounts
    • Select your current Microsoft 365 account and click the – (minus) button to remove it
    • Click the + (Add Account) button to add it back

    4/ Reinstall Outlook

If the issue persists, consider reinstalling Outlook to rule out a problem with the local application installation.

    5/ Contact your IT admin

If the issue continues after completing the steps above, contact your IT administrator and ask them to open a support ticket with Microsoft for further assistance.

A technical support engineer can initiate a remote session, assess backend configurations, and perform diagnostics. If necessary, they can escalate the matter to a specialized team for further investigation.

I hope this information is helpful. Let me know if you have any questions.
