Agents disappeared in Copilot 365 premium

I had all my agents disappear over the weekend last week.

they were there Friday then disappeared. As if they were deleted by MS.

I can see from previous chats where they were used but cannot access them or download/share them from the chat.

I get an error when trying to do this.

Anyone have any idea how to recover these or what happened here?

stumbled upon this because I had something similar happen to me just recently. I have at least 3 agents that I have created a while ago in copilot builder (not studio) and they are no longer there. I can find one of the agent chats in the chats but can't get anything from the chat, it is like a dead chat. These were built over a year ago and the last one I used in May of this past year.

    Hi Blunt, Justin,

I understand how concerning it must be to suddenly lose access to all the agents you created, especially when they were still available just a few days earlier.

To help narrow this down, could you please confirm:

    • Are you using a personal Microsoft 365 Premium account or a work/school account?
    • Were the agents created directly in Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, or SharePoint?
    • Do the agents still appear under All agents in the Microsoft 365 Copilot app?
    • What is the exact error message when you try to open or share an agent from an older chat?
    • Have there been any recent changes to your subscription, Copilot license, account, or organization?

If possible, please share a screenshot of the error, but make sure to hide any email addresses, organization details or other personal information.

In the meantime, please sign out of Microsoft 365 Copilot completely, close the browser or app, and then sign back in with the same account originally used to create the agents. You can also try opening Microsoft 365 Copilot in an InPrivate or Incognito window to rule out a cached session issue.

Please also open All agents from the navigation pane and check whether the agents are still available but are no longer pinned. You can refer to Get started with agents in the Microsoft 365 Copilot app for more information.

If you are using a work or school account, please ask your Microsoft 365 administrator to confirm that your Copilot license is still assigned and whether access to custom agents has recently been changed.

For now, I recommend keeping the previous chats, as they may provide useful references if further investigation is needed. While my initial response may not fully resolve the issue, I truly appreciate your cooperation as we work together toward identifying the most effective solution. Thank you so much for your understanding.
