I’m having an issue with Microsoft Authenticator and I’m completely stuck in a sign-in loop.

The app still shows my accounts, but there’s a red error saying I need to sign in again. When I try to sign in with my password, Microsoft asks me to verify the login using the Authenticator app. The problem is that I can’t access the authenticator codes or approvals because the app itself is asking me to sign in first.

    When I had this issue I added another MFA method to my account from a spare phone, I was then able to use the spare phone MFA to approve my sign in on the Authenticator app on my main phone, then removed the spare phone as a MFA method once completed to ensure no stale MFA methods on my account.
