    Hi @Alasdair Macdonald

Thank you for posting on Microsoft Q&A forum.

It appears you’d like to turn off the spell check feature while typing in New Outlook. Here’s how you can do that:

    1. Open New Outlook on your desktop.
    2. While in an email draft in new Outlook, in the simplified ribbon, select the (...) overflow menu.
    3. In Classic ribbon, select the Editor icon.   User's image
    4. Scroll down to the Spelling section.
    5. Disable the spelling feature or uncheck any options you prefer not to use.  User's image
