Microsoft 365 features that help users manage their subscriptions, account settings, and billing information.
Sign in to Microsoft Order history with the personal Microsoft account used to buy Microsoft 365 Personal, open the matching order, and select Order details → Tax invoice or Print.
Retrieve the invoice
- Open Microsoft account Order history.
- Sign in with the Microsoft account used for the purchase. If you have multiple accounts, try the account that received the purchase or renewal confirmation.
- Under Payment & billing → Order history, adjust the Ordered within date range if the purchase is not initially displayed.
- Locate the Microsoft 365 Personal order by its order number.
- Select Order details.
- Choose:
- Tax invoice to view the available tax invoice, or
- Print to print the order details or save them as a PDF through the browser’s print dialog.
Microsoft documents this personal-account invoice path in its Store billing guidance.^1^ Order history also shows whether the charge is Completed, Redeemed, or still In progress.^2^
If the invoice is missing
- A tax invoice can take 48 hours to five days to appear on the Order details page.
- VAT invoices appear only in countries or regions where VAT applies.
- If the order is absent, change the date range and verify that the signed-in Microsoft account is the one used for the purchase.
- If Microsoft 365 was purchased through Apple, Google, a retailer, or another provider, obtain the invoice from that seller rather than Microsoft.
- If a Microsoft Store purchase still does not appear after the stated period, use Contact Support on the Microsoft tax-invoice support page.^1^
For privacy, avoid posting the complete order number or other billing details publicly.
