Need to remove Office 2019 license so I can start using new 365 license - how to do that?? Why is this so difficult???

I need a simple step by step plan that will allow me to start using my computer again. Anyone??

    Hi Jayne.

    Open the Settings App.

    Go to Apps - Installed Apps.

    Scroll down to find Microsoft Office and uninstall Office from there.

    Restart (not shut down) your PC.

    Then, log into your Microsoft account on this link.

    https://account.microsoft.com/services/

    There, you will find your Microsoft 365 subscription and can install Microsoft 365 from there.

    If that does not resolve the problem.

    Open Word.

    Go to File - Account.

    Click the Switch Licence button, and from the resulting list, you should be able to switch to your Microsoft 365 subscription.
