I have over 200 dollars in subscription charges in one month. I would like to speak to a real person instead of trying to wade through all the forms, computer answering. How to do that? I have spent 2 hours all ready trying to figure this out!

    Hi SANDRA HENSLEY,

I understand how concerning it must be to see more than $200 in subscription charges within a single month, especially when you have already tried to find a way to speak with a support representative.

Please note that this is a user-to-user support forum. Moderators and contributors, including external Microsoft employees, cannot access billing records, issue refunds, review charges, or make changes to Microsoft accounts. I can only provide general technical guidance based on the information shared here.

Because this involves multiple subscription charges, the appropriate next step is to contact Microsoft Support directly:

    • Enter Billing issue or Multiple subscription charges.
    • Select Get Help.
    • If the suggested articles do not resolve the issue, select Contact Support.
    • Sign in if prompted.
    • Choose Microsoft 365 and Office, followed by the relevant Billing or Subscription management category.
    • Select an available contact option, such as browser chat or a callback.

You can also review your Microsoft order history while signed in to each Microsoft account you may use. This may help determine whether the charges are duplicate renewals or are connected to different subscriptions or accounts.

If any charge is unfamiliar and does not appear in the order history, consider contacting the card issuer promptly to secure the payment method and prevent additional unauthorized charges.

I know this may not be the immediate resolution you were hoping for, but Microsoft Support is the correct team to securely review the account and billing details. Thank you so much for your understanding.

To reach a real support person for billing and subscription charges:

    1. Go to Contact Microsoft Support.
    2. Enter Billing Issue or Contact in the search box.
    3. Select Get Help.
    4. Choose Contact Support or Sign in to contact support.
    5. Under Products and services, select Microsoft 365 and Office.
    6. Under Category, select Billing and Payment Updates or Manage account subscription.
    7. Select Confirm.
    8. Choose Chat with a support agent in your web browser.

If chat is unavailable, try again during support hours. In some cases, a phone callback option is available after the support flow.

Before contacting support, check these two places because they can help identify whether the charges are duplicate renewals, a different Microsoft account, or another person using the same payment method:

    • Order history to look for multiple purchases of the same amount close together
    • Manage your payments and select Investigate for unfamiliar charges

If the charge does not appear in order history, it may be tied to another Microsoft account or another person using the same card. If the payment information may have been compromised, contact the bank or payment provider to stop further charges.
