Could you please confirm which Microsoft 365 application, website, or resource you were trying to access when this error appeared? Also, does it occur only with that resource or across other Microsoft 365 apps as well?

Are you signing in with a work or school account, and does the same error occur in an InPrivate/Incognito browser window?

These details will help determine whether the issue is related to the specific resource, account permissions, or the stored sign-in session.

Apology for delayed reply. The error occurs a while after starting pc (delayed), occasionally it doesn't appear and at other times it can pop up several times - it appears even if I don't open and app. I have 365 family application and Windows 11.

No problem, and thank you for the additional information. This confirms that you are using a personal Microsoft 365 Family subscription on Windows 11.

Because the error appears sometime after startup, sometimes repeatedly, and without you manually opening an application, a startup app or background Microsoft service may be attempting to access an account or resource.

When it next appears, please:

Take a screenshot of the full error window, including its title bar.

Check Task Manager > Startup apps and note which Microsoft applications are enabled.

Open Settings > Accounts > Access work or school and confirm whether any unfamiliar or old organizational account is listed.

Please remove or cover any email address, account name, or other personal information before posting the screenshot.
