The Edge sidebar app list retirement is not the cause. Copilot is expected to remain available in the sidebar.

If the current pane is showing a migration message, that indicates the Copilot experience is moving to a newer experience and may require restarting Edge. The documented self-service actions are to restart Edge, verify sidebar/Copilot settings, verify sign-in, update Edge, and check whether organization policy is controlling the experience.
If the issue is only happening in the company build environment, the most likely enterprise checks are edge://policy, account type at edge://settings/profiles, and whether the work tenant has Copilot enabled.
