I cant access copilot.microsoft.com in Chrome on my Android, it keeps redirecting me to the app store; why is it required to download to use now? Is there a way to continue using Copliot Web??

Hi @Namewalker

The Copilot app should not be required to use Copilot on the web. Microsoft still lists the browser as a supported way to access Copilot. Try opening Copilot Web or Microsoft Copilot for work or school directly in Chrome.

If it continues redirecting to Google Play, clear Chrome’s site data for Copilot, then try again in an Incognito tab or enable Desktop site from Chrome’s menu. Also check whether Android is automatically opening Copilot links with an installed Microsoft app by going to Settings > Apps > [Microsoft app] > Open by default, then clear the default link preference.

If the direct web addresses still redirect, this may be a mobile-site issue or a controlled rollout rather than a new requirement to install the app. As a temporary workaround, try another supported browser such as Microsoft Edge.

Hope this helps, feel free to let me know if you need any further help
