You can purchase Entra ID P1 typically from the same channel as you purchased your Azure / Microsoft365 subscriptions.

That would typically be through a reseller, or via online subscription inside your Microsoft admin center portal.

If is also available as a bundle in certain Microsoft365 plans like M365 Business Premium or M365 E3.

For existing users, you can either get the standalone subscription or upgrade their M365 plans.
For new users, you can also add it with their plan, or for simplicity just buy a bundled plan.

As for where to get it, if your initial license is via a reseller, then contact them for quotes.
You can also add it via direct subscription to Microsoft via your Microsoft365 admin portal.

However, if you get a via a reseller, they may be able to offer professional advice, best practices, training and even professional services on deploying the features in Entra ID P1 properly, including stuff like SSPR credential write-back, conditional access policies etc.

    Hi @john john Pter

If you mean Microsoft Entra ID Premium P1, there isn't a separate license with that exact current name. The current product name is Microsoft Entra ID P1, formerly known as Azure Active Directory Premium P1. This was a product-name change and did not change the licensing, pricing, features, or capabilities. You can read more at New name for Azure Active Directory - Microsoft Entra | Microsoft Learn.

Microsoft Entra ID P1 is available as a standalone license. It is also included with certain subscriptions, such as Microsoft 365 E3, Microsoft 365 F1/F3, Enterprise Mobility + Security E3, and Microsoft 365 Business Premium. You can refer to Microsoft Entra licensing - Microsoft Entra | Microsoft Learn.

To purchase standalone licenses, if your tenant supports direct purchasing:

    1. Sign in to the Microsoft 365 admin center with an appropriate administrator account.
    2. Go to Marketplace.
    3. Search for Microsoft Entra ID P1.
    4. Select the required number of licenses and complete the purchase.

Before purchasing, I recommend checking Billing > Your products to confirm whether your existing subscription already includes Microsoft Entra ID P1.

After purchasing the licenses, you can assign a license to an existing user from: Microsoft 365 admin center > Users > Active users > select the user > Licenses and apps

For new users, you can assign an available license when creating the user or create the user first and assign the license afterward.

You can find detailed instructions here: Assign or unassign licenses for users in the Microsoft 365 admin center.

If your organization purchases Microsoft subscriptions through a reseller/CSP, you may need to purchase additional licenses through that partner instead of directly through the Microsoft 365 admin center.
