Microsoft 365 features that help users manage their subscriptions, account settings, and billing information.
Hi Duncan,
After the subscription is canceled, a notification shows that the cancellation is complete.
For further confirmation whether your Azure subscription cancellation was processed, please sign in to the Azure portal, navigate to Subscriptions, and check the subscription status. If the subscription no longer shows Active and instead shows a status such as Expired, the cancellation has been processed. Please note that Azure may take up to 72 hours to finalize billing and generate any final invoice after a subscription is canceled.
If you have any outstanding credits that aren't yet applied to your invoice, the estimated credits that apply to your invoice are shown.
The following example shows that credits were applied and pending estimated charges. In this example, the final bill is estimated at USD 50.50 and two cancelled subscriptions.
You can also check:
- Cost Management + Billing > Subscriptions
- Cost Management + Billing > Invoices
Additionally, you can find the Delete subscription option available 3 days after you cancel your subscription for customer led subscriptions or 7 days for field and partner channel subscriptions in the Subscriptions page.
