    Hello Austin Frye,

I’m sorry you’re still being charged when you can’t access the account that owns the Realm.

First, check the merchant name on a receipt or bank statement. If Microsoft/Xbox is billing you, contact Microsoft Support about the continuing Realms charge and explain that the subscription is on an account you cannot access. If another store is billing you, contact that store to cancel it.

Account recovery is worth pursuing if you also want the account back, but I wouldn’t make that your only path for addressing the charge. Please don’t post your card or transaction details here.

If the subscription is on another Microsoft account, cancellation must be done from that same account. If access to that account is not available, use the account sign-in recovery flow first, then cancel from Services & subscriptions.

    Steps:

    1. Try to recover access to the Microsoft account using the sign-in help flow.
    2. After access is restored, go to Subscriptions at https://account.microsoft.com/services.
    3. Find the subscription and select Manage.
    4. Select Cancel or Upgrade or Cancel, then follow the prompts.

    Important checks:

    • If Turn on recurring billing appears instead of Manage, the subscription is already set to expire and should not renew.
    • If the subscription was purchased through a third party such as Google Play, Apple App Store, Amazon, or another retailer, cancellation must be handled with that provider.
    • If a charge continues after cancellation, one documented reason is cancelling too close to the billing date. Cancellations must be made more than 2 days before the billing date.
    • If the charge is not recognized, review it on the Manage your payments page of the Microsoft account dashboard.

If the account still cannot be accessed, contact Microsoft Support and ask for help with the subscription cancellation after account verification.
