    Hello,

You (the Family Organizer) should be able to adjust the Microsoft Family Safety Screen time limit for your child's account.

To do that, sign in with the Organizer account in the Family Safety settings here:

    https://account.microsoft.com/family/home

    • Select your child's account and click 'Manage consent'.
    • Go to the respective platform for which you want to set screen time: That is, Windows (tab)
    • You should be able to adjust the screen time settings for your child's account on the Family Safety webpage.
    • To turn limits off, select the MoreVertical icon, then select Turn limits off.

Try this in order on the child’s Windows 11 laptop:

    1. Make sure the child is signing in with the correct Microsoft account.
      • Family Safety limits only apply correctly when the child signs in with the same Microsoft account that is in the family group.
      • If the account is outside the family group, screen time settings may not work as expected.
    2. Verify the child account on the PC.
      • Sign in to the child profile if possible.
      • Go to Start > Settings > Accounts.
      • If Verify appears, select it and complete the prompts.
      • If Verify does not appear, open Microsoft Edge on the child account and use the Family verification page: verify your account.
    3. Check that the child account is a Standard user, not an administrator.
      • On the PC, open Settings > Accounts > Family & other users or Other accounts.
      • Select the child account > Change account type > set it to Standard user.
      • A child set as Administrator can change or break Family Safety settings.
    4. Remove and add the screen time limit again.
      • In Family Safety, remove the current screen time limit.
      • Add it back after the account is verified.
      • This can clear glitches with limits and blocks.
    5. Restart the laptop.
      • After verification or account-type changes, restart the device and try signing in again.
    6. If this started on a newly set up or upgraded device, confirm the child was added to the family group with the same Microsoft account used on the laptop.
      • The child must sign in to Windows with a Microsoft account.
      • Then that same account must be added to the family group for Family Safety settings to apply.
    7. If the device is still stuck in the loop, send logs from the Family Safety mobile app.
      • In the app, tap Home > Help & Feedback > Send logs.
    8. If sign-in itself is failing, use Microsoft’s sign-in help or contact support.
