You can download Mouse Without Borders separately form this link:

    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35460

Or download Microsoft PowerToys form the Microsoft store app, that also includes Mouse without Borders along with other functionality.

Mouse Without Borders is included in Microsoft PowerToys. Install PowerToys, then open PowerToys Settings and select Mouse Without Borders.

    To connect the two PCs:

    1. On the first PC, open Mouse Without Borders in PowerToys Settings and select New Key.
    2. On the second PC, enter that security key and the name of the first PC, then select Connect.
    3. After connection, files can be transferred through the clipboard.

    Important limits for file transfer:

    • Copy/paste works with one file at a time.
    • File size limit is 100 MB.
    • Drag and drop works with one file only and does not work with network files.
    • Folders and multiple files are not supported directly; zip them first as a workaround.

For larger transfers between a Windows 10 Pro PC and a Windows 11 Pro PC, OneDrive or an external USB drive is a better fit.
