Inplace-Funktionsupgrade auf 1809 bricht nach Installationsfortschritt von 93% ab; Fehlermeldung: 0x80070002

Habe aktuell noch die Version Windows Pro 1709 installiert. Habe nun nachdem ich unfertige Anwendungdporjekte fertig gestellt hatte, mal wieder Zeit  und Möglichkeit ein Inplace Upgrade durchzuführen. Habe dazu den Norton Internetsecurity mit dem entsprechenden Norton Tool entfernt. Auch alle sonstigen tiefer ins  System eingreifenden Anwendungen wurden deinstalliert (Festplattenmanager, Systemexplorer  usw.) Als Sicherheitssoftware war dann der Windows Defender aktiv. Mittels MCT habe ich die 1809 nmir runtergeladen und das Image auf eine DVD gebrannt. Von der DVD habe ich dann ein Upgrade gestartet. Die Installation lief bis 93% durch. Dann kam kurz die Meldung, dass der PC in Kürze neu gestartet wir. Wenige Sekunden darauf bricht der Installationsporzess ab mit einer Fehlermeldung, dass die Installation fehlgeschlagen ist. Kurze Zeit darauf wird auch eine Fehlernummer ausgegeben. Nach Kontakt mit dem MS Support haben 3 verschiedene MS Supporter das Gleiche versucht, mit dem gleiche Fehlerbild, obwohl ich bereits  dieses Verhalten und den Installationsverlauf selbst durchgeführt hatte und Ihnen auch erwähnte. Auf das dabei erzeugte Fehlerprotokoll  der "setuperr.log" im Ordner C:$WINDOWS.~BT\Sources\Pantherwollten sie nicht eingehen, trotz Nachfrage, dies bitte zu betrachten und zu analysiern.

Ich bin von MS Support daher schwer enttäuscht!!

Mache hier mal den Inhalt der setuperr.log öffentlich. Vielleicht hat einer noch eine Idee und mehr Willigkeit und event. auch Wissen als der MS Support.

Ich werde aber wohl über einen Clean-Install mit Neuinstallation der Anwendungen nicht drum wegkommen. Warte dann aber besser gleich auf die 1903!

Trotz alledem würde ich auch gerne die Ursache des Installationsfehlers herausfinden.

    Hallo Reinhold

    Das ist es doch was ich die ganze Zeit sage das System kann den Bootmgr nicht erweitern darum sollst du es mit der sauberen Neuinstallation versuchen

    Und ich bin mir zu 100% sicher das das klappt

    habe mal beim Support von Paragon nachgefragt:

    Hier die Erklärung zu dem 4. Volumen:

    Sehr geehrter Herr Regensburger,

    vielen Dank für Ihre Anfrage.

    Dies ist eine versteckte MSR-Partition (Microsoft System reserved). Sie wird durch Microsoft erzeugt. Diese Partition wird nicht in der Datenträgerverwaltung angezeigt. Sie können Sie in Windows nur über das Konsolenprogramm "diskpart" sehen. Unsere Software zeigt die Partition natürlich an, auch wenn Windows diese versteckt.

    Auch Ihre alte Festplatte hat 4 Partitionen und somit auch eine MSR, welche dort aber nur 16MB groß ist. Normalerweise wird von Windows 10 ab einer Festlattengröße von über 16GB eine 128MB MSR erstellt und nicht wie bei Ihnen auf SSD1 nur eine 16MB MSR, welche bei Festplattengrößen unter 16GB erstellt wird. --> Evtl. ist das Update/Upgrade deswegen schief gelaufen.

    Wieder was dazugelernt!

    Du hast zwei Start Platten auf der unteren fehlt der Laufwerkbuchstaben (weil auf der oberen schon "C"

    mit rechtsklick kannst du einen neuen Laufwerkbuchstaben vergeben

    Hallo Reinhold

    Was soll man dazu noch sagen

    Bei soviel Clonerei mit vorhandenen Fehlern ist das ganze eine Suche nach der Stecknadel im Heuhaufen

    Die versteckten Dateien mit no Name werden deine Boot Dateien sein also die EFI boot Dateien

    Deswegen solltest du ja auch meinen Link anschauen mit den bootrec Befehlen und UEFI

    Hallo Uwe,

    bei angeschlossener SSD 2 als Systemfestplatte werden mir in der Datenträgerverwaltung nur 3 Volumes angezeigt:

    Jetzt habe mal wieder die SSD 1 als Systemfestplatte angesteckt und die geklonte SSD 2 über USB angesteckt.

    Nach Boot über die SSD 1 konnte ich nun im Festplattenmanager 15 von Paragon (ist auf der SSD 1 noch installiert) mir die Volumes betrachten. Hier tauchen nun aber plötzlich 4 Volumes auf:

    Wo kommt plötzlich das lokale Laufwerk mit den 128 MB her?

    Eine Reservierte Microsoft Partition. Wo nimmt Microsoft auf einmal die zusätzlichen 125MB Speicherplatz her?

    Jetzt habe ich nochmal aus dem BBOt von der SSD 1 die Datenträgerverwaltung aufgerufen un mir hier die über USB angeschlossenne geklonte SSD 2 betrachtet:

    Wieso taucht hier die Primäre Partition als Partition 4 auf? Warum hat Datenträger 2 keine Partition 1? Wo ist das von Paragon dargestellte Laufwerk mit 128 MB? Wieso wird die in der Datenträgerverwaltung nicht dargestellt?

    Ich verstehe hier die Welt nicht mehr!

    Kann mir einer das mal erklären?
