Problems sending mails to hotmail.com and live.com adresses from Office365

Hi

We are trying to send 500 mails to different email accounts. 129 mails are returned with delivery error

Most of these errors are hotmail accounts.

Delivery has failed to these recipients or groups:

The email system had a problem processing this message. It won't try to deliver this message again.

Diagnostic information for administrators:

Generating server: AS4P192MB1863.EURP192.PROD.OUTLOOK.COM

Remote server returned '550 5.6.0 CAT.InvalidContent.Exception: DataSourceOperationException, proxyAddress: prefix not supported - ; cannot handle content of message with InternalId 23733989298946, InternetMessageId

What is happening here. We have done this several times without errors

Sending one mail to a hotmail.com account returns with same error

Sending from another tenant to one of these hotmail.com accounts are delivered.

    Hi

    It seems like Microsoft has a problem with danish letters - æ, ø and å .

    We observed that all receipients has a name with some of these letters and have the following domains @hotmail.com, @live.dk, @outlook.com, @msn.com

    We will try to send mails another way

    We have same issue using office365/Exchange online

    Hi, has anyone found a solution to this? I get the same error when trying to send to any hotmail address. I'm using AWS SES to send email to a smal group (a local charity). The emails get delivered to anyone *not* on hotmail without an issue and fail to all of the hotmail users. This was working until recently. The emails would always go to spam on hotmail, but that's a separate problem. Now they're not getting delivered at all.

    Apologies. I'm not a Danish speaker. I just found this thread via a search.
