    I'm sorry to hear that.

Check for Windows updates. Settings(Win+I) > Windows update > Check for Windows update.

After installing the pending updates and restarting the computer, return to the exact Windows Update screen, click Advanced Options > Optional Updates, apply the optional updates, and restart the PC.

Perform a Clean Boot to identify if any third-party software is causing the issue.

    1. Press Windows + R to open Run, type msconfig in the text field, and click hit Enter.
    2. Go to the Services tab, tick the checkbox for Hide all Microsoft services, and then click on Disable All.
    3. Now, navigate to the Startup tab, and click on Open Task Manager.
    4. Select any apps that read Enabled under the Status column, and click Disable.
    5. Once done, head back to System Configuration, and click on Apply and OK.
    6. Click on Restart in the prompt that appears.
    7. After the PC restarts, check if the problem is fixed. If yes, one of the processes or services you disabled earlier is the underlying cause.
    8. Now, enable the services and startup apps one at a time unless the problematic one is identified, and then make sure to disable it.

Regarding the headset problem, could you please try your headset with another device or connect another speaker or headset to your computer to see if it recognizes it?

none of them worked. Gamemode still turns off by itself, and spdif output still can't output windows audio.

Hello! My name is Mostafa; I will assist you today.

I’m sorry that you are experiencing this issue. You’re not alone in this issue. Some users have reported that their game mode keeps turning off after they reboot their PC.

Please check and try Greg's solution in the older thread below with the same problem if it helps.

Regarding the second problem, please update your audio drivers.

    1. Right-click on Start, then select Device Manager.
    2. Select Audio and Inputs, then right-click the one you want to update.
    3. Select Update driver software, then click Search automatically for driver software.
    4. If Windows cannot find an update, visit the device manufacturer's website and check for available driver updates.

Make sure your headset is properly plugged in. If not, try unplugging it and plugging it back in.

    1. Type Control Panel in Windows search and click Open.
    2. Change the view by category to large icons.
    3. Choose Sound from the list of available options.
    4. In the next dialog, go to the Playback tab and check if your headphones are listed there. And set as defaullt.

Please let me know if the above steps did not help. Thank you.
