Why have you replaced people with bots in your entire customer service department. This is ridiculous. I have an issue that could've been fixed in minutes, but instead I'm having to get a minor in computer science to navigate your insufficient products.

Not being able to get on the phone with an actual human being is driving me insane. The issue I'm having is minor, but I don't know how to describe it to a machine and the machine isn't smart enough to connect the dots.

Honestly the only reason I'm still using windows is for gaming. The customer service here is literally nonexistent and pitiful.

Have fun deleting this honest review of your services.

Hello, Ryan Edgel.

Yes, it's difficult to contact a live operator right now, not a bot. Things used to be much simpler... I recommend using a chat, not a phone. There are real people in the chat, not bots. But even for this, you need to complete a small "quest". Log in to your MS account on the page: https://support.microsoft.com/en-US/home/contact?SourceApp=smc2&ContactUsExperienceEntryPointAssetId=www.microsoft.com

In the search bar, type (without quotes) "agent support" and press Enter or click on Get Help. Ignore the search results, and click on the "Contact Support" button at the bottom. On the next page, select "Windows" and "Technical Support" from the drop-down lists, and then click on "Confirm". Next, select the chat "Chat with a support agent in your web browser". A chat window will open in a new tab. Wait for the operator to respond.

Note. The chat is available during business hours and on business days according to US time.

I am a MA365 business user. Which means we use the intirely overly complex Exchange Server. About a week ago MS shut down our exchange account because it recived 24 wrong attemps to log in. Our attempt to reactivate the email account failed and we contacted MS Customer Support. The bot (can't use AI as it was not inteligent) said "support for exchange is online, thanks for contacting Microsoft" and hung up. After several failed calls. We changed DNS records so we could receive email form our hosting company. However, we need Exchange for Teams/Calendering. We needed to get back on Exchange, this time without Microsoft's help and contacted Fuse Networks who has an agreement with Microsoft to provide customer support that it doesn't. In a matter of hours we were online again with Exchange. Shame on MS and thank you Fuse.

All Microsoft Support Service phone numbers are listed here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/customer-service-phone-numbers-c0389ade-5640-e588-8b0e-28de8afeb3f2

The last time I used their phone was about 3 years ago. Then it was difficult to contact a living person (the bot answered all the time). As far as I remember, it was necessary not to press the buttons or respond with a voice, and after a few minutes of chatter, the bot switched to the operator. I don't know how things are right now.

I understand your frustration with the reliance on bots in customer service. The Services Hub Virtual Agent is designed to assist users by providing immediate help for specific issues without the need to wait for a live support engineer. This approach aims to streamline the support process and resolve common problems quickly. However, it can be challenging when the bot does not fully understand your issue or when the problem requires more nuanced human interaction.

If you're facing a specific issue, I recommend using the Services Hub to submit a detailed help request. This way, you can describe your problem, and a support engineer can assist you directly. Typically, responses to help requests are provided within 8 business hours.

I hope this helps improve your experience with customer support.
