Hi Chris,

Thank you for sharing this. It seems your account may still be under a temporary lock due to multiple sign-in attempts, which is part of Microsoft’s security measures.

Please wait about 30 minutes before trying again and ensure you’re signing in from a trusted device and network. If you have the Microsoft Authenticator app, set it up on your new phone for added security one you regain the access. If the issue persists, submit the Account Recovery Form at https://account.live.com/acsr with as much detail as possible.

    Hi Chris,

Thank you for reaching out and sharing your concern about being unable to sign in after successfully recovering your account. I'm here to help!

It sounds like your account may have been temporarily locked due to too many login attempts, which is part of Microsoft’s security system to protect against unauthorized access. Even after resetting your password, trying to log in repeatedly during this lockout period can keep the block in place.

To fix this, wait for about 30 minutes before trying again, and make sure you're signing in from a trusted device and network. If you have the Microsoft Authenticator app, using passwordless sign-in might help. If the issue continues, you can submit the Account Recovery Form again with as much detail as possible to verify your identity.

Have you tried signing in from a different device or using the Authenticator app?

Let me know how it goes. If you found this helpful, marking it as helpful might make it easier for others to find the solution. Thanks!

    Regards,
    Carlo
