I bought Microsoft Family but downloads will not work on Mac High Sierra.

Hi guys I have an older Mac and it's only compatible with MacOS High Sierra 10.13.6. The Microsoft 365 Family subscription I bought in July 2025 will not load up on my computer. Where can I download compatible subscription for my Mac High Sierra?

Based on community discussion, the last version that works on MacOS High Sierra is Office for Mac 16.43 (released November 2020). You can find it on Microsoft’s update history page:

    Please try to use this installer that is compatible to your High Sierra: https://officecdn-microsoft-com.akamaized.net/pr/C1297A47-86C4-4C1F-97FA-950631F94777/MacAutoupdate/Microsoft_Office_16.16.19031202_Installer.pkg

    Take note, do not click on update after the installation as it will defeat the purpose of downloading this specific version.
