I purchased Microsoft 365 for my Grand-daugher's computer and did not install because she can not use it, can I return it?

I purchased a subscription pf Microsoft 365 when I purchased a laptop for my grandaughter to go to college. She found out that it is provided through the school. Can I return it since it has not been installed anywhere? Best Buy will not let me return it although it has not been installed.

If you purchased from third party, unfortunately Microsoft wouldn't be able to process refund.
