Hello,

last week i add a new mailadress to my microsoft account.
But i coulnd´t set it as primary mail.
I get always a "try next week" message.

[Wir begrenzen die Häufigkeit, mit der Sie Ihren primären Alias ändern können. Versuchen Sie es bitte nächste Woche noch mal.
We're limiting the number of times you can change your primary alias. Please try again next week.]

It is "next week"..... same problem.
No Microsoft 365 or Office or something, just a simple personal microsoft account.
Hope someone can help me.

Btw.: it feels no needed tag is the right one.
Sorry for my bad english.

Hi there,

I'm Cherrelyn, and I’m here to help.

If you're still seeing the “Try again next week” message when trying to change your primary alias, it means the system hasn't yet lifted the limit from your previous attempt. Sometimes, the restriction can extend beyond 7 days depending on account activity or recent changes. Please wait a few more days, then try again via account.microsoft.com > Your info > Sign-in preferences. If it still doesn't work after that time, you can remove and re-add the alias, then attempt to set it again.

I hope this will help and If you have any question please don't hesitate to leave a comment.

Warm regards,

Cherrelyn
