My old email livemail.tw was hacked. When I try to sign in with it, I get: “This username has been turned off for sign‑in.” I was forced to create a new email to access my Microsoft account, but I just want to use my old email again and know whether it’s safe. How do I turn sign‑in back on for my old address (or set it as primary again)? If it was removed, is there any supported way to get it back?

I’m not trying to recover my Microsoft account, I can already sign in using the new email I was forced to create.
What I need help with is my old email address: @livemail.tw
- When I sign in with it, I get: “This username has been turned off for sign‑in.”
- When I try the recovery form, I get: “The Microsoft account you entered doesn’t exist.”
Can you please clarify:
- Is my old
@livemail.twaddress still an alias on my account and just disabled for sign‑in? If yes, how can I re‑enable it (or make it primary again)? - If it’s no longer attached to my account, is there any supported way to get that exact address back for sign‑in?
- Is my old address safe (not reassigned to someone else)?
