Hi, I understand how important it is to get the best audio quality from your PCIe sound card.
The reason you’re not seeing 32‑bit / 384 kHz support is because Windows’ built-in audio stack currently tops out at 24‑bit / 192 kHz for PCM, so anything beyond that requires the manufacturer’s driver to unlock full capability.
To check if your card can run at higher rates, open Sound Settings then click Device Properties then go to Advanced and see the available formats.
If 384 kHz isn’t listed, try installing the latest driver from the card’s manufacturer and confirm WASAPI exclusive mode is enabled in your playback software for bit-perfect output.
Do you usually play Hi-Res files through a specific app like Foobar2000 or JRiver, or are you relying on system-wide audio?
Knowing that will help me guide you on the best setup for transparency and pass-through.
Regards,
Aron
