How to Apply and Revert System Settings for UWP Apps on Install/Uninstall

We are developing a UWP Centennial / Desktop Bridge application that interacts with certain system environment settings.

We aim to achieve the following behaviors:

Apply initial settings on installation After the UWP Centennial / Desktop Bridge app is installed, the system should reflect the intended initial settings.

Revert to OS defaults on removal After the app is uninstalled, the modified settings should automatically revert to the OS default values.
