我們是行動網路供應商，目前在協助一位電信營運商客戶處理一台 Windows Server 更新異常的狀況。說明如下：

作業系統：Windows Server 2019 Standard
Build 編號：17763
最後成功更新時間：2022 年 9 月 20 日
目前狀況：主機無法連線至 Windows Update，顯示訊息為：「我們無法連線到更新服務」，且更新紀錄完全空白。

已嘗試排除方式:

確認 Windows Update (wuauserv) 服務已正常啟動
執行 sfc /scannow 與 DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
清除快取：重新命名 SoftwareDistribution 與 Catroot2
檢查登錄檔，未發現 WSUS 設定值
防火牆允許 Windows Update 服務，僅其他外網受限
同一網段中另一台 Windows Server 2016 (Build 14393) 可正常更新

想請教：

是否有可能是由於 Windows Update Agent 過舊、缺少必要 SSU/LCU 或簽章機制所致？

若手動安裝最新 SSU / LCU，有機會恢復更新功能嗎？

另外，我們也針對這台伺服器進行了基本的系統健康檢查，包含下列項目：

確認 Windows Update 組件完整性與服務狀態

檢查作業系統是否存在損毀檔案（sfc /scannow）

執行 DISM 以修復映像錯誤

檢查磁碟使用量與事件檢視器中是否有系統層級錯誤

防毒軟體狀態與病毒碼是否為最新

系統時間是否同步（NTP），避免憑證驗證失敗

KB5005112（2021 年 8 月）是更新 Windows Server 2019 的 SSU 的一個不錯的選擇，但 KB4536952（2020 年 11 月）也是一個有效的選擇，取決於系統的當前狀態。

Thank you again for your previous reply and for suggesting the installation of KB5005112 as the Servicing Stack Update.

After reviewing our environment and referencing Microsoft's update catalog, I am planning to proceed with manual installation using an external drive due to restricted network access.

I’d like to confirm the following:

Planned Manual Installation Sequence:

Servicing Stack Update (SSU)

1.KB5005112 (August 2021)

2.Cumulative Updates (LCU)

For Windows Server 2019:

1.KB5035849 (March 2024) or

2.KB5055519 (April 2025 – latest)

For Windows Server 2016:

1.KB5055521 (April 2025 – latest)

Clarifications:

Are these updates sufficient to restore Windows Update functionality, or are there any additional components I should install manually (e.g., TLS-related patches)?

Should I avoid KB5044284 (Windows Server 2025 preview), as we have no plans to upgrade yet?

Would you recommend checking the Windows Update Agent version or re-registering update components after this?
