    edge://settings/resetProfileSettings

Edge,

    %LocalAppData%\Microsoft

    Edge

    3. Enable Two-Factor Authentication: Enable two-factor authentication (2FA) for your Microsoft and email accounts. This adds an extra layer of security.
    4. Run Antivirus and Anti-Malware Scans: Use a reputable antivirus and anti-malware software to scan your computer for any malicious software. Make sure your definitions are up to date.
    5. Update Your Software: Ensure that your Microsoft Edge browser, your operating system, and all other software are up to date. Software updates often include security patches.
    6. Check for Browser Extensions: Inspect your browser extensions and remove any suspicious or unfamiliar ones. Hackers sometimes use malicious extensions to compromise browsers.
    7. Clear Cookies and Cache: Clear your browser's cookies and cache, as these might contain information that the attacker could use.

    11. Contact Microsoft Support: If you are unable to resolve the issue on your own, reach out to Microsoft Support for further assistance.
    12. Consider a Clean Installation: In extreme cases, if you suspect your system has been severely compromised, you may need to reinstall your operating system to ensure a clean slate. Be sure to back up your important files before doing this.
    13. Educate Yourself: Learn about common hacking techniques and best practices for online security to better protect yourself in the future.

Remember that it's essential to take cybersecurity seriously, practice good online hygiene, and regularly update and scan your devices for security threats. If you suspect a hack, the quicker you take action, the better your chances of minimizing potential damage.
