Personal Vault Files Missing

Has anyone experienced something similar?

I'm using the free version of Microsoft 365, which only allows up to three files in Personal Vault. However, I've continued storing more than three files there over the years, even though they weren't successfully uploaded due to my OneDrive storage being over 5 GB above its limit.

One day, I discovered that almost all my files had disappeared. Only three photos remained, along with several folders that appeared to be from an older version.

Is there any way to get OneDrive or Personal Vault to search for potentially remaining files that might still be stored locally on my computer but haven't been uploaded to the cloud?
