Microsoft 檔案裝載和同步處理服務。
Hi Ian,
Thanks for letting me know what’s going on I totally get how annoying it is when File Explorer freezes up just from clicking a OneDrive file. Waiting several minutes without any response can really disrupt your workflow, especially when you’ve already tried fixes and nearly deleted something important. Let’s sort this out together!
Here’s What You Can Safely Try
Check for Windows Updates
Microsoft recently released an update (KB5052094) that improves how OneDrive works with File Explorer. It helps reduce lag and freezing:
Go to Settings > Windows Update and hit Check for updates.
If you see KB5052094 or anything related to OneDrive/File Explorer, install it and restart.
Reset OneDrive (No Files Will Be Deleted)
This refreshes OneDrive’s connection without touching your files:
Press Windows + R, then paste:
%localappdata%\Microsoft\OneDrive\onedrive.exe /reset
Hit Enter. OneDrive will restart and re-sync automatically.
Unlink and Reconnect OneDrive
This helps if the sync setup is acting up:
Right-click the OneDrive icon in the system tray.
Go to Settings > Account > Unlink this PC.
Restart your PC, then sign back in to OneDrive.
Pause Sync Temporarily
If OneDrive is syncing a lot of files, it can slow things down:
Right-click the OneDrive icon > Pause syncing > Choose a time (e.g., 2 hours).
Try a Clean Boot
This checks if another app is causing the issue:
Open System Configuration (msconfig).
Under Services, check Hide all Microsoft services, then click Disable all.
Go to the Startup tab and disable startup items.
Restart your PC and test File Explorer.
NOTE:
Avoid deleting OneDrive files unless you’re sure they’re backed up. If you’re ever unsure, I can help double-check safely.
Let me know if you’d like help checking for that update or walking through any of the steps. I’ve got your back!
