Is there a chance to create a countdown timer whenever some one tell you to wait for 5 mins.

Hi Teams Group,

Teams is the best communication APP I've ever used. Recently, I found timer function on the front will be wonderful to me.

Since I often get response like 'Sure, 5 mins latter OK?', and next time I recalled this dialog would be 1 hours letter or even more.

It would be nice to have a timer on the front window, that I can set up and buzz when the time is end, remind both time to go.

If I may add, you can also try using Power Automate's 'Schedule a reply' template that will allow you to reply to a message at a specific time.

Alternatively, you can search for it from 'Apps' and start adding it.

I'm afraid at this time, is not available yet. I strongly recommend submitting a request for this highly useful functionality at https://aka.ms/TeamsFeedback or from the Teams app, select 'Help' > 'Suggest a feature'.

Or you can try searching for some available third-party timer apps (from Teams) that might suit your needs.

However, if you're referring to a meeting timer, I invite you to upvote an active request from the following thread:
