Subject: Inquiry Regarding Native HarmonyOS Version of Microsoft Edge for Mobile

Dear Microsoft Edge Team,

As we enter 2026, Huawei’s HarmonyOS has firmly established itself as the world’s third-largest mobile operating system, with a rapidly expanding ecosystem. Given this significant shift, I would like to inquire about Microsoft’s roadmap for developing a native HarmonyOS version of the Microsoft Edge mobile app.

Currently, there are over 100 million Huawei smartphone users in China alone, and this number continues to grow—both domestically and as Huawei expands its global presence. Many of these users, including myself, rely heavily on Edge for its cross-device syncing, productivity features, and seamless integration with Windows. However, the lack of a native HarmonyOS app means we are forced to use workarounds or less optimized alternatives, which diminishes the user experience.

I strongly believe that investing in a native HarmonyOS Edge app is not only a strategic move to capture the loyalty of Huawei’s massive user base but also a forward-looking step to align with the emerging global trend of multi-platform diversity.

I sincerely hope Microsoft will listen to user feedback and consider prioritizing this development. A timely response would be greatly appreciated.
