    SQL Server 2019 Standard edition is not available as a separate public download from Microsoft. The official installation media provided by Microsoft is the Evaluation edition, which contains the same binaries as Standard and Enterprise editions.

    To install SQL Server 2019 Standard, please follow one of the approaches below:

    Option 1: Install Using Evaluation Media with Product Key

    1. Download the SQL Server 2019 Evaluation ISO from Microsoft: https://www.microsoft.com/en-in/sql-server/sql-server-downloads
    2. Run the setup from the downloaded media.
    3. During installation, select “Enter the product key”.
    4. Provide your valid SQL Server 2019 Standard product key.
    5. Complete the installation, the instance will be installed as Standard edition.

    Option 2: Upgrade Existing Evaluation Installation If you are already using the Evaluation edition:

    1. Open SQL Server Installation Center.
    2. Select “Maintenance” -> “Edition Upgrade”.
    3. Enter your SQL Server 2019 Standard product key.
    4. Follow the wizard to complete the upgrade.

    This process converts the Evaluation edition to Standard edition without requiring reinstallation.
