Hi,
Since HDR is off and your graphics driver is up to date, try these troubleshooting.
- Check Display Settings Go to Settings > System > Display, scroll to Multiple displays, and manually select "Show only on 2". Make sure the resolution and refresh rate match what your external monitor supports.
- Use Windows + P Shortcut Press Windows + P and choose Second screen only. If it still jumps back to "Duplicate," it may be a driver or hardware issue.
- Disable Fast Startup Go to Control Panel > Power Options > Choose what the power buttons do, then disable Fast Startup. Restart your laptop and try again.
- Try a Different Cable or Port Sometimes the issue is with the HDMI or DisplayPort cable. Try using a different cable or port.
Let me know how it goes.
