Hello. If you're on a Mac, and you have a OneNote notebook that is stuck on your computer and not available or deletable from OneDrive, you can just as easily disconnect it from OneNote and remove any cached records of it. First, close the notebook from OneNote (Control+Click the notebook name and select "Close This Notebook"). Next, quit OneNote entirely and go to ~/Library/Containers/com.microsoft.onenote.mac/Data/Library/Application Support/Microsoft User Data/OneNote/ using Finder's "Go to Folder", and delete the folders titled Cache, Temp or whatever else that covers the old sync data. Afterwards, go back to the OneDrive web portal, search the name of the notebook, and delete it directly if you find it. Finally, open OneNote again, sign out and sign back into your account so that you clear out the sync environment. This method ensures that any remnant of the notebook is removed from both the local and cloud levels leaving you clean.
