Outlook shows wrong name on my profile card for my own email address

My Outlook.com email address is [Removed PII]@hotmail.com** and the correct Microsoft account profile name is [Removed PII]. However, Outlook incorrectly displays my own contact/profile card as “ [Removed PII]****.”

This incorrect name appears on both Outlook.com and the Outlook Android app.

There is no contact named [Removed PII] in my Outlook Contacts or phone contacts. I have already removed the autocomplete suggestion multiple times and completely cleared and disabled Expanded People Suggestions, but the incorrect profile name remains.

I also manually created a contact for [Removed PII] – [Removed PII]@hotmail.com**, but Outlook still displays [Removed PII]

The Outlook profile card also shows LinkedIn possible matches for [Removed PII]

Could you please investigate and remove/correct any server-side profile, contact, or identity association that is incorrectly linking [Removed PII]@hotmail.com** with [Removed PII]?

Please note that this is Turkish Q&A Forum, any threads should be posted in Turksih. However, I will still provide an answer in English based on your initial response. Please note that our forum is a public platform, and we will modify your question to hide your personal information in the description. Hi Bilal AKTAŞ

I understand how concerning this is, especially since the incorrect name appears on both Outlook.com and Outlook for Android.

Since your Microsoft account name is correct and you have already cleared autocomplete, checked your contacts, disabled Expanded People Suggestions, and created a correct contact, this does not appear to be a normal local contact or application-cache issue. Creating another contact is also unlikely to overwrite information being supplied from another profile-card source.

As this is a personal Outlook.com account, moderators and forum members cannot access or remove server-side identity associations. Please contact Outlook.com support from inside your mailbox:

    1. Sign in to Outlook.com.
    2. Select the Help icon in the upper-right corner.
    3. Describe the incorrect profile-card name issue.
    4. If the suggested articles do not help, select Still need help? and submit the request or start the available support option.

Thank you so much for your patience and understanding. I hope you have lovely day
