Hi Burak,
I understand how frustrating it can be when the game audio suddenly becomes distorted as soon as you start using voice chat.
Could you please confirm whether you are using a Bluetooth headset, a wired/USB headset or the computer’s built-in speakers and microphone? Also, when you say the sound becomes “weird,” does it become muffled or low-quality, quieter than usual or start crackling?
In the meantime, please try the following:
- Press Windows + G to open Xbox Game Bar, then open the Audio panel.
- Under both Mix and Voice, make sure the correct output device, microphone, and default communications device are selected.
- Open Settings > System > Sound, select your output device, and temporarily turn Audio enhancements off.
- Under the same device settings, try selecting a different Default format.
- Open Device Manager > Sound, video and game controllers, update the audio device driver, and then restart the PC.
If you are using a Bluetooth headset with a built-in microphone, Windows may switch it to a hands-free communication mode when voice chat starts, which can noticeably reduce game audio quality. As a quick test, try using the computer’s built-in microphone or a separate microphone while keeping the Bluetooth headset selected only for audio output.
While my initial response may not fully resolve the issue, I truly appreciate your cooperation as we work together toward identifying the most effective solution. Thank you so much for your understanding.
