title laptop bluetooth turns off by itself tried all software fixes
hi guys i have a bluetooth issue on my laptop that i couldnt solve for a while i wanted to ask you to be sure if the problem is completely hardware related or if there is a deep system setting i missed
my problem when i first start the computer bluetooth works perfectly and i can connect to my devices but after working for a short time bluetooth suddenly disconnects and turns off it gives cannot be opened error in windows settings or completely disappears from device manager and falls into hidden devices
solutions i have tried so far please dont suggest these again i completely removed the drivers from device manager and downloaded the latest drivers from the manufacturers website and did a clean install via services msc i set the bluetooth support service to automatic and set it to restart the service in case of failure i went into the properties of the bluetooth card in device manager and unchecked the allow the computer to turn off this device to save power option i disabled the usb selective suspend setting in advanced power options for both on battery and plugged in i clicked show hidden devices in device manager and deleted all old conflicting bluetooth hardware
even though i removed all power saving restrictions the device works at the first boot and then turns off after it gets warm or under load so i started to think the problem is hardware related putting a cooler under it didnt change the situation at all
at this stage is there a different bios or windows tweak i missed and can try or should i directly open the cover and replace the wifi bluetooth card or just buy a usb dongle thanks in advance for your help
