Verification of Ownership for an Old Hotmail Account

Hello,

I am trying to recover access to my old Microsoft/Hotmail account:

******@hotmail.com

This account was closed a long time ago and I no longer have access to it. However, I believe the address still exists in Microsoft’s system because when I try to create it again, I receive a message saying that the username is already taken.

I still remember important information related to this account, including the secret security question/answer and some old account details.

I would like to know if there is any possible way to verify that this account previously belonged to me, or if there is any recovery/support process available for old closed accounts.

I understand that the account may not be recoverable anymore, but I would appreciate any guidance or confirmation you can provide.

Is there any possibility of obtaining any kind of confirmation or document showing that the closed account previously belonged to me?

I am asking because I used this email address to register on some third-party websites and services in the past, and I may need proof of ownership for verification purposes.
