Hello Duru Zeren,
Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Q&A Forum! Apologies for any inconvenience you're experiencing. The behavior you described usually points to a graphics driver hiccup (Windows briefly reset the display after a crash), and here's how you can fix it:
1 - Go to Settings → System → Display → Scale & layout and set Scale back to 125% (or 100% just to test), and make sure Advanced scaling settings has custom scaling turned off.
2 - Launch one game in a “safe” mode
- In Steam → Library → right‑click the game → Properties → General
- Disable Steam Overlay, then in Launch Options add: -windowed -noborder
3 - If games still crash, clean install your graphics driver
Uninstall the current driver:
- Device Manager → Display adapters → (your GPU) → Uninstall device → check Delete the driver software (if offered).
- Install the latest official driver from your GPU maker (NVIDIA, AMD, or Intel).
- Temporarily turn off overlays (NVIDIA/AMD, Discord, MSI Afterburner/RivaTuner).
- Reboot and re‑test a game.
I look forward to receiving your update. Let me know which solution works for you or if your problem persists and you need further assistance, feel free to ask me by clicking "Add Comment". Thanks for your effort.
