Here's what you can try To separate or remove Skype contacts from Microsoft Teams, first manually remove or block unwanted contacts by going to Chat > Contacts and selecting Remove or Block for each Skype contact. Next, check Settings > Privacy/Permissions > External access in Teams and disable or block Skype or external contacts to prevent new ones from appearing. You can also sign out of Skype or remove it from connected services via your Microsoft account at account.microsoft.com. For a completely clean experience, using a separate Microsoft account for Teams only can prevent Skype contacts from appearing.

Important: In Teams Free, some Skype contacts might appear automatically and cannot be fully "deleted," because Teams Free and Skype share contact info through Microsoft accounts; manual removal and blocking is usually the most effective.
