May I please ask if you're having trouble opening the Steam app or Forza Horizon 5?
Steam uses a different login, so if you're unable to sign in to Steam, you'll need to reset your account settings for Steam.
However, if you've signed in with your Microsoft account on Forza Horizon 5 and you're asked to verify your identity via an email address that you no longer recognize, one reason could be that your account has been compromised - hackers might have added that email address, or you may not have updated your email address.
- To verify, open an incognito tab in your web browser and sign in with your account here: https://account.live.com/proofs/Manage.
- You’ll be prompted to verify your identity.
- Check if you see the same unknown email address there.
- You can also click 'Use a different sign-in option' and log in using your recovery email or phone number.
- If you're able to sign in, you can remove the unfamiliar email address from your account.
