Hi Navdar,

This is April, I'll be happy to assist you. Sorry to hear that you're having issue with Windows 10 device login. Let me help you out.

Based on the description of the issue, you are being asked to login to your Microsoft account in Microsoft applications every time you turn on your computer. It is probably due to Microsoft account set up or Windows syncing credentials. Below are some steps you can try to resolve the issue:

  1. Check if you're Signed into Windows with a Microsoft account
    • First is to check if you are signed in to Windows with local account or a Microsoft account
    • Press Win + I to open Settings
    • Go to Account > Your Info
    • If you see the options "Sign in with a Microsoft account instead" you're currently using a local account
    • If it shows your Microsoft email, you're already using a Microsoft account
    • If you're on a local account, switching to a Microsoft account can help your apps stay signed in and sync correctly.
  2. Enable Credential Manager
    • Make sure Credential Manager is working properly
    • Press Win + R, type services.msc and hit Enter
    • Scroll down and find Credential Manager in the list
    • Make sure its Startup Type is set to Manual or Automatic
    • It its set to Disabled, right-click on it, select Properties, change the startup type to Manual, and click Start
  3. Clear Cache Credentials
    • Corrupted or Outdated login tokens can sometimes cause repeated sign-in prompts
    • Go to Control Panel > User Accounts > Credential Manager
    • Select both Windows Credentials and Web Credentials
    • Remove anything that looks like it relates to Microsoft (e.g., Microsoft Account: ******@domain.com)
    • Restart your computer and sign in to the apps again
  4. Allow Apps to use Account Info
    • Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Account Info
    • Make sure "Allow apps to access your account info " is turned on Also check:
    • Got Settings > Accounts > Email & Accounts
    • Confirm that your Microsoft account is listed under Accounts used by other apps
  5. Update Windows and Apps
    • Go to Settings > Windows Update and install any pending/available updates
    • Open the Microsoft Store, go to Library, and click Update all to ensure all apps are up to date
  6. Sign in and Allow Time to Sync
    • Once completed steps above:
    • Open apps like Outlook, Teams and the Microsoft Store
    • Sign in with your Microsoft account again
    • Let it sync properly
    • Restart your PC and see if the sign-in prompts still appear
If the issue continues, please don’t hesitate to contact us again. We’re here to help, and we appreciate your continued trust in us. Warm Regards, April P. Independent Advisor
