Usually, this happens when you enter an incorrect account password multiple times. For security reasons, Microsoft may temporarily block further sign-in attempts.
This block is usually removed automatically after 30 minutes. So, wait for 30 minutes before trying to sign in again, and then check whether you can sign in successfully using your password.
Once Signed in, to change the Account lockout thershold,
On the PC running PRO edition, click Windows + R key, type gpedit.msc and click ok.
Navigate to -
Computer Configuration > Windows Settings > Security Settings > Account Policies > Account Lockout Policy
Change the Account Lockout thershold time to 0.
So, from next time you will not face this issue again.
