With regards to the issue you are experiencing, are you trying to enter your key via the Microsoft Office apps? If it is the app, I suggest to try using a browser to redeem your key. You can go to the Microsoft page:

https://setup.office.com/redeem/enter-key

If it is still not working, try to use a different browser, login to your account, and redeem your key again.
