การจัดการโปรไฟล์และการซิงค์ใน Microsoft Edge บน Windows 10

I want to remove my Microsoft account from the Edge browser, but the browser won’t let me delete it. It also keeps creating a shortcut on the Desktop.
The scariest part is that it allows me to sign in again without entering a password at all.
I want to know how to fix this — both how to delete the account from “Choose an account”, and how to prevent Edge from remembering the sign-in credentials and allowing a profile to sync without even verifying that it’s actually me.
I’d like to ask for a solution, as I’ve tried several methods but still can’t delete it.

Hi,
If the account you’re trying to remove is the same one used on your Windows device, Microsoft Edge will keep it and automatically sign you in. If it’s a different account, open Edge Settings > Profile and select Sign out. To remove the account from Choose an account, press Windows + I, then go to Accounts > Your accounts, expand the account you want to remove, and then click Remove.

Hi P S
Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A Forum!
I’m really sorry you’re dealing with this. Edge doesn’t store Microsoft accounts only inside the browser. It also pulls identities from Windows itself (via Windows account storage / SSO). Because of that:

Remove the account from Windows (not Edge)
This is what actually removes the account from the system-level account picker that Edge uses.
Fully close Edge and reopen it
How to stop Edge from signing you back in without a password
What you’re seeing here is usually Single Sign-On (SSO). If Windows or another Microsoft app already has a valid sign-in token, Edge can reuse it without asking for credentials again. To prevent that behavior as much as possible:
Hope this helps. Feel free to update here if anything comes up!
