My Microsoft account was hacked – email changed and phone number removed

My Microsoft account was hacked.

On 30 January 2026, my account email was changed and my phone number used for verification was removed without my permission. I have email evidence confirming the change, which can prove that I did not make these changes myself.

How can I recover my account and secure it again? What steps should I take to verify my identity and report this hacking incident properly?

Please help. I did not authorize these changes.
