I have used a desk top computer bundled with licensed Win OS 11 Home in my office for over a year, and run some programs on it. They can work together well. A few days ago I found that I cannot print my paperworks. The program I use is the accounting program named POJAMAN.
I send the printing order through remote desktop connection as normal. But it doesn’t work. The IT man from POJAMAN program let me know that the OS 11 updated automatically has blocked or protected the printing order once I do it via remote desktop connection from the HO server. It has worked smoothly so far.
Please advise me on this matter. I just wonder it can happen with no knowing before, though I have worked on many OS verions for yeas.
It shocks me amd makes more paperworks piling up on my desk.
I look forward to seeing your help asap.

Hi,
Please have your HO server administrator verify that client printer redirection is still enabled on the server side.
Windows 11 updates can sometimes trigger new security settings, and if the HO server’s Remote Desktop Session Host configuration (or group policies) has been adjusted (intentionally or not) it may block redirected printers even if your local settings are correct. Confirm that the server’s policy for “Do not allow client printer redirection” is disabled, then reconnect and try printing again.
I did follow your advice.
But it does’t work.
Please don’t hestitate to give more options to do the setting for printing via remote desktop connection.
Hello,
Please try verifying that your Remote Desktop Connection is still set to redirect local printers. Before connecting, open Remote Desktop Connection, click Options, and under the Local Resources tab make sure the Printers option is checked. Once confirmed, reconnect to your HO server and try printing again.
This solution often resolves issues that arise after an automatic update alters remote printing settings.
